Tour program:

Day 1- Rome – Arrival

Arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport and transfer with our driver and car/minivan to a Religious House or 3-star hotel.  Free time. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome.

Day 2 – Rome, Guided Tour in the historic city center

Served Breakfast. Transfer by public transport to the center. Private guided historic city center walking tour.  Lunch on your own.  Return to the Religious House or hotel on your own. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome

Day 3 – Rome, Pope Audience (must be a Wednesday)

Served Breakfast.  Transfer by public transport to the Vatican. Participate at the Pope Audience according the Pope’s schedule. Lunch on your own. Optional visit: Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, Basilica Saint Peter (not included). Return to the Religious House or 3-star hotel on your own. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome

Day 4 – Rome, Montemartini Central Museum

Served Breakfast. Transfer with our local assistant and private minivan to Montemartini Museum: The old power station of the via Ostiense is now an interesting museum. In the Machine Room, for example, you will find sculptures and friezes from the Teatri di Pompeo. In the Furnace Room there are statues from the ancient gardens of the aristocratic Roman houses. In the Columns Room you will find mosaics from the Esquiline necropolis. Minivan transfer back to the city center. Lunch on your own in the city center. Optional walking Tour: Coliseum (external), Forum Romano (external), Capitol Hill with wonderful view of Venice Square and Coliseum/Forum Romano ..  Return to the Religious House or 3-star hotel on your own. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome.

Day 5 – Rome – Departure

Served breakfast. Check out and transfer with our private driver with minivan to Rome Fiumicino Airport
